Mission Work
Mission work is central to our identity. We get a sense of joy and fulfillment in serving families in need. We donate time and resources to these programs, trying to be all we can as the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
Angel Tree gives us the opportunity to share Christ’s love by helping to meet the needs of children and families in our community. Gift tags on the Christmas tree specify needs for gifts for those less fortunate in partnership with Bellevue Together.
The Bellevue Food Pantry, a local outreach program, provides food, paper products, detergent, and personal hygiene items to those in need in Sarpy County. Please take a colorful bag to fill and return it to the grocery cart in the narthex for distribution to the pantry.
Crossroads Connection ministers to inmates at Omaha Work Release Center and provides social services to former inmates who are transitioning to outside life. Quarterly we host the meal and conduct a Sunday evening worship service attended by inmates, former inmates, sponsors and volunteers.
Good News Jail & Prison Ministry chaplains serve in the US and abroad. Our gifts help to reach inmates and staff with the Gospel and to disciple them for Jesus Christ.
Bellevue Together “Bringing the community together to meet the needs of vulnerable Bellevue Public School families.”
Bellevue Together helps with unmet needs of Bellevue Public School families identified by school counselors and social workers. We support the main events: Back-To-School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas programs and other projects for teachers, students, and parents. |
