Commissioned Pastor Linda Reffert

Commissioned Pastor, Linda Reffert is serving in a temporary transitional or interim pastor position at First Presbyterian. Previously, Linda had served as Children’s Ministry Director, until her retirement. Upon retirement, Linda began study in the Synod of Lakes and Prairies Lay Academy, and was commissioned to First Presbyterian in September. She will serve in this role until a permanent pastor is called.
In this interim time, Linda is focusing on the importance of prayer and the gift that comes from being part of a church family. We value the family members we have and always have room for more!
Linda is married to husband Randy, and they have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Linda’s hobbies are reading, golf, travel and any and all grandchildren activities. Linda is a native Nebraskan, beginning life on a farm outside Clarks, Nebraska. She graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, and worked in business before going into Christian Education.
